How-To: Amazon Lockers
Technology has helped to develop some of the best camping gear, but it still can’t foolproof forgetfulness.
Let’s be honest, we’ve all been in this situation: heading out for a camping adventure only to realize something has been forgotten.
Well, thanks to Amazon Lockers, campers across the U.S. are able to find what they need and get it shipped quickly to the locker closest to them!
What you need to know:
What is an Amazon Locker?
Simply put, it’s a self-service parcel delivery service created by Amazon.
It allows you to easily send supplies you may have forgotten to the nearest locker-equipped store.
Where are they located?
Currently, Amazon Lockers are plentiful in major cities like Washington D.C., Richmond, Charlotte, and Baltimore. Lockers are also popping up in smaller cities across the U.S.

What’s the Catch?
There aren’t really any catches, but there are a few things to note:
There is no additional fee for using an Amazon Locker.
Standard Shipping and FREE shipping may be unavailable at some Amazon Lockers.
Same-Day Delivery and One-Day Shipping are available in select areas only.
All items must be fulfilled or sold by Amazon.com.
Shipping weight must be less than 20 lbs.
Product dimensions must be smaller than 19 x 12 x 14 inches.
How Can You Get Your Package?
Once your package is delivered to the Amazon Locker, you'll receive an e-mail notification with a unique pickup code that includes the address and opening times for your selected Locker location.
When you arrive to collect your package, enter your pickup code or scan the barcode using the barcode scanner and follow the instructions on the screen.
Note: All packages delivered to Amazon Locker locations have to be picked up within three (3) business days. If your package (or packages) is not picked up it will be sent back to Amazon for a refund.
