Check In & Out Times 

RV & Tent check in / out: 2 p.m. / 11:30 a.m.
Cottage check in / out: 3 p.m. / 11 a.m.

Occupancy

County and state regulations allow no more than seven people to one site.

Guests/Visitors

Campers are responsible for their guests/visitors. They must register at the office and pay the guests/visitor fee and/or vehicle fee. Vehicles must be parked in overflow parking by our cove deck area.

Pets

All pets must wear a current, valid license. Proof of rabies vaccination must be provided to the office at check-in. There is a limit of two pets per site. Owners must clean up after their pets. All pets must be leashed at all times. Pets must not be left outside unattended. 

Quiet Time & Courtesy

Our quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. daily. Violations of courtesy rules could result in eviction from the campground. Do not cut through sites and keep possessions on your site, please. 

 

Closing

The closing date for the 2019 season is 2 p.m., October 28. All camping units must be removed by this date.

Cancellation

RVsIf your reservation is canceled 30 days prior to your arrival, Massey’s Landing will provide a full refund, less a $20 change fee per reservation. If you cancel your reservation within 29 days prior to your arrival, all deposits paid will be consumed as your cancellation fee and your reservation will be released.

Cottages: If canceled within 61 days or more of your reservation, all but $20 of your deposit will be refunded. Cancellations within 60 days or less are non-refundable. 

Security & After Office Hours

There will be an overnight security guard on duty. Please call 302-947-2600 to contact a Security Officer.

Emergency

Dial 911 - Location is 20628 Long Beach Drive, Millsboro, Delaware Give your site number and notify the front office so we can provide an escort.

Speed Limit

On Long Neck Road the speed limit is 40 mph and 5 mph on all campground roads.

 

Vehicles

One vehicle is included in the site fee. One extra vehicle may be parked on your site for an additional $8 per a day. All vehicles must have a valid state license plate and a parking pass from the front office upon check-in. No beach parking allowed, golf carts only. Towing is enforced. All motorized vehicles must provide proof of insurance to be permitted on the property. Failure to provide proof of proper insurance will result in the prohibiting of use on Massey’s Landing property. All ATV/UTV and other large Terrain Vehicles are prohibited. The only 4 wheeled vehicles permitted in our park are your car, truck or adequately insured golf cart. Stand up scooters are also prohibited. All personal golf carts must be insured for coverage while on our site. Homeowners insurance is not adequate, as it does not cover the golf cart away from home. All personal golf carts must obey park speed limits and rules, or they will be banned. There will be no exceptions.

Trailers

After Launching your watercraft, the trailer must be returned to your site or overflow parking immediately.

Fireworks

Delaware and county law both prohibit the use of fireworks at any time. Massey’s Landing has also banned the use of sparklers.

Campfires

Delaware law requires campfires be attended at all times. Occasionally there is a state ban of fires and we will post and/or notify you at check-in if that occurs.

Fire Rings & Picnic Tables

One of each is provided to marked sites. Please do not put trash, bottles or cans in fire rings. 

Smoking

All buildings including bathhouse, pool areas and the beach are smoke-free.

Bikes

Delaware law requires that anyone operating a bicycle under the age of 16 wear a helmet while biking. All bikes used during dark hours must have working lights. Lights are available for purchase at the resort store.

Golf Cart Operators

Delaware law requires all motor vehicles, including golf carts, be operated by a licensed driver. Proof of insurance coverage while at Massey’s Landing is required for anyone operating a golf cart. Any non DMV registered tagged golf cart cannot leave the property of Massey’s Landing or large State fines may be incurred.

Trash

Before 10 a.m. trash may be placed in front of your campsite to be collected by our Maintenance Staff. After 10 a.m., please place trash in any of the dumpsters located on the resort.

Recyclables

Please place in appropriate container. 

Sewer Hook-Up

Delaware law requires all sewer hoses be undamaged and sewer connections be tight. Replacement sewer hoses and sewer doughnuts can be purchased at our camp store or office.

Disclaimer

Owners and/or management assume no responsibility for accidents or injuries to clientele and guests. We reserve the right to evict anyone without refund for detrimental conduct.
